Flights from London to Sydney in Australia cost from just £602.20 in 2010 when flying with China Airlines via Taiwan and booking with Southall Travel.

China Airlines isn’t one of the best known options for flights between London and Sydney, but the Taiwan-based carrier is regularly offering superb deals on flights between the UK and Australia at the moment.
London to Sydney flights | November 2010
Investigating cheap flights to Sydney from London in November 2010, I used Travelsupermarket’s search engine to see what deals were on offer for an arbitrarily-picked set of dates. Using 03 November 2010 as a departure date and 25 November 2010 for the return (with a three day flexibility window either side), the best deal that came up were with China Airlines.
Southall Travel flight deal
The best of the bunch was booking through Southall Travel, which is offering London to Sydney flights via Taiwan for £602.20 including taxes. These flights involve a short layover in Taipei en route to Australia.
Alternative flight dates via Taiwan
Of course, this is just the best deal on one set of dates, but it is usually the case that other good deals with the same airline will be available on alternative dates around that time.
