On Tuesday, I explained that Kayak’s Best Fares box can be a tremendous way of uncovering tremendous bargains.

Using this method, I managed to find excellent deals on flights to Melbourne in September. Well now I’ve used it to find even better offers on flights to Adelaide in November.

Adelaide flight prices

Flights to Adelaide are generally pricier than they are to Perth, Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane, simply because it isn’t as big a hub and not as many airlines fly there.

But using Kayak’s Best Fares tool, it’s possible to discover that approximately 48 hours ago, someone discovered a return fare from London to Adelaide departing on 05 November 2010 for just £663.

Great November flight deal

So clicking through and using the details as my search dates, I discover that this deal is no longer available. However, a return for £680 – still astonishingly cheap for November – is available.

Malaysia Airlines flight sale

This flight – with Malaysia Airlines – departs on 05 November 2010 and returns via Kuala Lumpur on 28 November 2010. It is being sold by Opodo.

Alternative flight dates

Of course, these dates may not suit, but it’s a good sign that similarly flights with Malaysia Airlines will be available through Opodo around this time.
