Flights to Australia via Hong Kong in 2010 & 2011 | Sale fares
Economy class return flights from London to Perth for from £719, Sydney & Melbourne for from £779, Brisbane, Cairns & Adelaide for from £769.
Australia flight sale | Cathay Pacific
Hong Kong-based airline Cathay Pacific has launched a sale on flights to a number of Australian destinations. Importantly, the cheap prices are not just for flights in the usual cheap period on mid-April to mid-June as well.
London to Perth flight sale
Cathay Pacific is offering flights to Perth in Western Australia – departing from London and changing planes in Hong Kong – for from just £719. This price is valid for flights booked before 15 October 2010. Travel needs to take place either in November 2010 or between 26 April 2011 and 10 June 2011.
Cathay Pacific to Melbourne & Sydney
The same dates apply to Cathay Pacific flights to Melbourne and Sydney from London Heathrow. Economy class returns to Australia’s two biggest cities are available for from £779, while London to Brisbane flights are available for £769.
Cathay Pacific economy class seats
But there are a few reasons why I regard Cathay Pacific as one of the best airlines to Australia with. The main one is excellent service and special economy class seats which move forward rather than recline backwards – essentially meaning that if you want to recline, you take your own legroom rather than that of the poor soul behind you.
Flights to Cairns & Adelaide
The other reason is that Cathay Pacific is one of the only airlines – along with Qantas – that offers regular flights from the UK to Cairns and Adelaide. And in the current sale, flights from London to Cairns or Adelaide are available for from £769, with the same dates applicable.
