Cheap round the world flight tickets
If you want to buy a flight to Australia, but fancy visiting New Zealand and the Pacific Islands too, it will almost certainly be cheaper to buy a round the world flight ticket rather than buy the flight legs independently.
Round the world via the Pacific Islands
One of the major round the world deals is Roundtheworldflights.com’s Trekker ticket. This allows six stops in various destinations around the world, and these include many of the Pacific island nations.
Samoa, Tonga or Cook Islands stopovers
For example, it is possible to stop in Upolu in Samoa, Tongatapu in Tonga or Rarotonga in the Cook Islands, as well as more conventional stops such as Auckland in New Zealand, Hong Kong and Los Angeles.
Round the world flight costs
This deal, by and large, uses flights with Air New Zealand, Singapore Airlines and Virgin Atlantic, and is available for from £698 plus tax. The amount of tax to add depends on where you stop, but it is generally between £250 and £450.
Samoa/ Tonga/ Cook Islands stopover prices
The price of these Trekker tickets allowing stopovers in Samoa, Tonga or the Cook Islands is dependent on the season. The cheapest deals in 2011 are for departures between 02 June and 10 June.
Not quite the deal you’re after? Try searching for alternative offers using the Cheapflights search box at the top of the page or the Skyscanner box on the right?
