Christmas flights to Australia | 2010
Finding cheap travel deals from the UK to Australia over the Christmas season can be hard, but the Air China flight sale contains excellent fares for Christmas 2010.
Cheap flights to Australia over Christmas period
As explained in Australiaflightbargains’ Christmas flights to Australia guide, finding cheap deals on flights to Australia over the Christmas period can be extraordinarily difficult.
Reducing cost of peak season flights to Australia
My suggestions for finding cheaper Christmas flights to Australia are to either leave early in December, come back before New Year or come back later in January. But what if you’ve only got a couple of weeks and really want to spend Christmas and New Year in Sydney?
London to Sydney flight deals
Well, I will always argue that two weeks in Australia is too short a time, but if you insist it is possible to find a couple of decent deals.
Air China flight sale 2010
For example, Lastminute.com currently has a sub-£1,000 offer on flights from London to Sydney via Beijing with Air China. Departing from London Heathrow on 19 December 2010 and returning on 02 January 2011, it is possible to get a flight for £918.87. This deal is unlikely to last long, however – so it’s advisable to book it while you can if you’ve got little flexibility.
Ebookers flight sale 2011/ 2011
If you can squeeze a few more days out, the flight price becomes slightly cheaper. Book through Ebookers with a departure on 19 December and return of 05 January 2011 and the price goes down to £884.67.
The latter deal really is extraordinarily cheap for a London to Sydney return flight over the busiest section of the peak period. But again, it probably won’t be around for long.
