Australian domestic airline Virgin Blue has launched a flight sale, and the prices are so low that it’s worth considering buying international and internal flights separately if you’re planning to travel around in Australia.
Sydney to Albury flights
As an example of the prices available on flights from Sydney, it is possible to buy tickets for a one way flight to Albury for from just $55. This price is applicable for Sydney to Albury flights taken between 01 February 2011 and 23 March 2011, as long as the flights are booked by 02 August 2010.
Sydney to Perth flights
The same dates apply for Virgin Blue’s cheap deals on flights from Sydney to Perth – one way tickets on this route are available for just $158.
Sydney to Mackay flights
Also available during the 01 February 2011 to 23 March 2011 period are flights from Sydney to Mackay for $109 and Sydney to Rockhampton for $99. They’re all good deals, and it’s worth working out whether it’ll be cheaper to buy your domestic flight separately rather than packaging them all up together in the initial purchase.
