2010 Air China flight sale: £651 to Sydney, £641 to Melbourne & free Beijing stopover
The advertised 2010 Air China flight sale offers attractive travel deals on flights to Sydney and Melbourne in Australia. But when are these seat prices available?
2010 Air China flight sale to Australia
Most of the best prices in the current UK to Australia flight sales are for departures leaving in April, May and June 2010. And for this reason, the promotional prices currently being advertised by Air China are extremely interesting.
Air China promotional fares: Sydney and Melbourne
Go to the Air China UK website and you’ll see a list of promotional fares. Amongst these are fares of £651 for an ecomony class return flight from London to Sydney and £641 for flights to Melbourne.
The travel dates for this alleged flight sale are between 01 January 2010 and 31 March 2010, and it’s supposedly possible to include a free Beijing stopover.
Seat sale availability?
There is, however, a problem. Finding these prices on any dates within the designated travel period is nigh on impossible. I tried a few combinations and every time, the price emerged at over £1,000.
This may be a classic case of misleading advertising, but to give Air China the benefit of the doubt, I haven’t tested all possible dates. You may get luckier if you test the site out on your required dates.
